 Below are Cake Pops and Mini Cupcakes Candy's made for the debut of the gorgeous Cakewalk at the 51st Fort Lauderdale Boatshow. It is the largest private yacht built in the US since the 1930's! At 281 Feet, it is ranked the 36 largest private yacht in the world... and with a name like Cakewalk - Sweet it is!

Pin It According to this, the World's largest cupcake record has been beaten! I had written about the 1,224 pound cupcake not too long ago! And now the largest cupcake is here in South Florida. At this rate we should be looking at a 2,000 cupcake soon!

Are you ready for the Game this Saturday?

A few weeks ago I went to the Broward Gator Club Watch @ Gulf Stream and made some fabulous Gator spirited cupcakes!

This week I will be at Bru's Room in Pompano raffling off more cupcakes to benefit the Broward County Gator Club Scholarship fund.

It will be a great time and I am for sure getting some of Bru's grilled wings! YUMM

**And lets not forget this Sparty Girl is cheering for STATE!**

Halloween Party

Pin It Every year our friend Robert throws a huge Halloween Party... complete with a DJ, bartenders, and catering. -You must be in a costume, no exceptions! This year I thought it would be a great idea to have a fun dessert table complete with an assortment of my sweets and treats!

My three girlfriends from out of town- all in separate parts of the country (I miss them dearly)helped me decorate and make the cupcake pops. I was running late and really needed the extra hands! They did a great job and I think they got to learn a lot too! (From the Left Jess, Kristen, and Morgan)

Pretty Pretty Princess Heaven!

Red Velvet Cupcakes - Quest for the Best

Pin It I made the Red Velvet Cupcakes the other day for the Lonely Hearts Dinner but to be honest I wasn't completely happy with the flavor or the color. So I was on a mission to make better ones. I have a recipe for Red Velvet Cake that is amazing but for some reason they pull away from the cupcake liners. Today I made 5 recipes and compared them.... and I found the best cupcake recipe after tweaking one of the recipes!

Red Velvets baking:

Cooling.....Side by Side Comparison: left is a butter recipe; Right is Vegetable Oil.... I prefer butter in taste.

Red Velvet Cupcakes - The Lonely Hearts Club

Pin It I made Red Velvet cupcakes yesterday for a special get together for my roommate.Its called the Lonely Hearts Dinner -a group of fabulous single people who each host a dinner party at one of their houses every Monday night. This week it was my roommate's turn to have it at our place. I decided it would be a perfect time to make Red Velvet Cupcakes and decorate them special for the Lonely Hearts Club. My boyfriend and I left the apartment and went for dinner and a movie. I came back home to rave reviews about the cupcakes! Check them out!

A 1,224 pound cupcake, a Guinness world record, was baked last week on August 14th.... back where I grew up in Michigan! Super Sweet! It took place at the Woodward Dream Cruise, which has been a Detroit tradition for many years.

So I made these really cute pink cupcakes last night! Check them out! They are Vanilla Bean with a Cream Cheese Frosting. I love the little cut outs and have been wanting to do them for a while. As you can see I love bright colors :o)
